Just got back from SAAC 36 about an hour ago and got my bag out of the truck.
To those of you that weren`t there .... you missed a fantastic event ! Got there on Thursday to go through tech early and get a spot in the pits .
Open track started first thing Friday .... I got almost 200 miles of on track time over the weekend with and without an instructor . For me , Friday afternoon was a blast as it started raining . Being an old dirt track racer , I`m used to being sideways and had a ball . Lots of guys elected to sit out the rain .... which was fine with me as there weren`t as many cars on the track . When I get the car off the trailer and settled in over the next few days , I`ll put up some of the pictures I took .
This was a joint event along with the SVT Mustang club .... and they are a great bunch of guys who are just as passionate over their cars as we are . Damn , some of them are fast !
Ron and the SAAC crew and the SVT crew really outdid themselves !!
Time for a shower and bed .

No,even better, in his "Corky" persona........One guy asked me "is that guy right in the head", my response was "yes, he is the CFO of ATT"

Look.. I'm a pretty big boy... But when Johnny Mac pulled that pointy little finger out and got to shaking that thing.. It scared the hell out of me.. I can see now how he has so much street cred in the hood up in Joisey. But he ain't in Joisey now.. screw him and his pointly little finger

I ain't a scared of you Al....but that banjo hanging on the back of your golf cart had me worried. Good time seeing everyone....I even saw Lauren Fix who has been MIA doing television for a number of years.....lots of interesting cars at this event. I have to say the new Boss Mustang was very impressive on the road course!
Got some great exposure and feedback on my 95 Cobra R...which just happens to be for sale!
