Car Appraiser in Cleveland??

Hi folks,

My brother (who lives in Toronto) is looking to buy a Corvette (he's workin his way up to a Cobra

) that's at a dealer in Medina, OH. Can anyone recommend a good car appraiser in the area? Or are any of my fellow mechanically inclined cobra owners who are close by willing to zip over and let us know if it's as cherry as the dealer says it is? My bro would be happy to pay you for your time.

Please advise asap.

My bro has decided against buying this car after reading of a lot of bad reviews about this dealer online. Thanks anyways.

Who is the dealer? I live very close to Medina and go there at least 3 times a week.

ZZ,

I've been in the vintage Corvette's hobby for 35 years or so. Vette guys are a very demanding breed of car nut. trust me I know, I've been one. If your brother is inexperienced with vintage Corvette's, I suggest he talk to a local NCRS member to gain some first hand knowledge and possibly a lead on a members car for sale. I never met a member that wouldn't assist a newbe. (ncrs.org/contact.php). As you know, exotic car dealers come both good and bad with many giving the good a bad rep., also keep in mind that a dealer is going to put their vig. on the price.
