Goodyear Billboards on ebay

Look closely. One of the fronts is 26.0x8 and the other is 26.5x8.
Nothing like a little front tire stagger to throw off your alignment.

ACademic,
You just ruined AND saved the day with one post.
The seller may not know.(?)

I want a set and was looking at them too, thanks for the heads up ACademic.
As far as "Seller may not know"... I must be getting just a touch too cynical in my old age? "Caveat emptor" is the phrase of the day boys.

Did anyone call the seller and find out if it is a typo?

Funny you should mention this, because I couldn't find a 26.0 BB tire on the Roger Kraus tire site. They only list 26.5, but the tires may be older and not listed anymore.

For the record, I'm NOT interested.

screw those billboards. i'm tired of mine. can't seem to get rid of that shimmy at 60 mph. i'm going with a set of hoosier street TD. they look vintage and it's a much better tire.

NOT. I've had 3 sets and the BB's are superior on the street and drag strip. The TD's heat cycle very quickly and get slick. I suspect on a road course they will go away and give up more easily too.

If you look at the pictures, the tires actually show 26. & 26.5. My guess is that if you call Rodger Kraus maybe they can explain if there are / were the two different sizes.
Depending on what they go for, you might be able to buy one mor 26.5 and still be a good deal.

The BB's on my car say 26.0 too. I didn't get them from Kraus, but they are two years old and I figure all of them must be pretty much the same. I've always wondered whether Kraus doesn't just have a misprint on his site and his tires are really 26.0 not 26.5.
Anyone know for sure?

Don't even think about it unless this for a "track only" car.......if you use them on the street, within 5 miles, you'll be wishing you had never bought them.......
They are great track tires, junk for the street, even though they have a DOT rating........they "hunt/track" on any little groove or ripple on the street and will pull your car in that direction in a nano-second.....
Don't ask how I know this, just take my word for it.........and that doesn't take into account the rocks they pick and throw under your fenders!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had the exact opposite experience with my GY BB. I really wouldnt have any other tire on my Cobra except for Avon's, than Billboards! Do they throw debris? Yes! just like any other sticky tire. I have put Dynamat and neoprene in my wheel wheels. Do they hunt/track? Yes, no more than my old explorer and my wife's FJ Cruiser. I love mine and totally know what is going to happen with them in cornering and off the line. They STICK! they do exactly what they say they do. No guess work for me. The looks are awesome BTW. You will find a mixed bag of responses. Weigh the pro/cons and decide. Do a search..alot of opinions on both sides.

I have to agree.
Mine were great, and for a 15 inch tire, only the Avons are better.
In regard to hunting and tracking. The original Goodyear run flats on my wife's Jeep SRT/8 were almost as bad.
I'm really torn as to whether to buy another set of Avons or BB's. It will be a decision I will make at that time.

I think with the BB's you get either a hit or miss with a good or bad set, or they just perform differently on different cars. I was very dissapointed with mine and am now very happy with the Mickey Thompson ET's.
