Default New build, need some answers...

Hey just wanted to let you all know I'm new to the forum, Just got an awesome deal on a street beasts partial kit and a 460 to throw in it. I'm going to have a whole bunch of questions for you guys in the future. I've read up on all the negative stuff going around about this manufacturer and am prepared to hear more of it. The deal is its not a full kit so I know I'm going to need to make a lot of the parts on my own or maybe order some things from other kit companies.
The main things I want to see about are if anybody has suggestions on the front end suspension for it. What kind of transmission and rear end to use, I currently have a redneck C4 transmission, but I might want to go with different one because they are out of business as well. The engine is set up currently to be putting out around 700-800hp and will need a strong drive train to be able to handle this and maybe a little more (planning on getting it up to around 1000hp).
Anyways if you guys have any good ideas or suggestions for me I'm open to hear them. Thanks... Gino

Your C4 won't hold 700-800hp unless it has really been built well. Having said that, most C4's that don't have aftermarket planetary gears, billet shafts, billet servos, etc. won't handle it.

I would go with a C6 if you plan on staying automatic, or a TKO if you plan on going manual.

It will need to go through a good 9" rear.

I can help with parts selection if you need it.

I agree:
you should stick with 700/800hp and see how it works in the car. These cars are a blast on the street with strong off idle torque.

I think we need a little moor info what do you expect the car to do when it is finished? Road race drag race or cruse, or how much of each? How soft or harsh do you wont it to ride. What is your budget? Ther are no bad kits just bad builders.
