Click on "Remember Me" and you won't get logged out.

I am never logged out, ever. Never, ever, ever.... the only exception to that is when I intentionally clean out the history/cookies/passwords/etc. on Internet Explorer. I can't think of a single time that I ever had to log in twice or that I got logged out.

All of this holds true for all of my various machines: WinXP/IE 8, Win7/IE 9, Win2k Advanced Server/IE6, BlackBerry Curve OS/Bolt. The XP and 7 machines run Symantec/Norton Internet Security (two different versions).

Yep, never ever ever logged out.

I never had either, Paddy...had a run of several years of being logged in before I ran over a laptop a couple of years ago.

It's all in the 'cookies'

Cookies are your friend. :p

Ralphy 07-06-2011 06:02 AM

On my PC that I am on now, it has my cookies enabled. I also have not tossed my cookies in months. I have been able to go to any page and even post and never get logged off. Except for the For Sale area. Wasn't, isn't a big problem just thought I would mention it.

Now that I clicked Remember Me, I can reopen and be logged on. However it's not something I will do on any computer but my home.

yep, i tried replying to an ad and it logged me out by just clicking the for sale parts private party.......i logged back in and checked remember me and i stay logged in now.......i can't keep that enabled but hopefully it will eventually be cookied to stay logged in without doing that......:p

The problem appears to be the lack of mutual recognition or persistence of the session "cookie" by the Club Cobra Forum/Portal and the Classifieds, which is an add-on module.

That might give Brent a clue as to a probable cause.
