For the moderators....

Hi Guys, I have this issue:

When I log in I get directed to anothr page that states

So why do I have to log in twice?

It's just a minor glitch...I have the same situation.

Ralphy 07-04-2011 11:50 PM

Jamo,
A problem I have is when I go to For Sale. Then click any header, I get logged off. Wondering if it's only me or is this common?

Jamo 07-04-2011 11:59 PM

Don't know if it's common, but good to know.

When Brent goes into the nuts and bolts for a periodic tune-up, it's more efficient to wait for several things...much like taking a car into a dealership...unless it's an issue that shuts down the site, etc.

He'll put his eyes on this and other issues.

Thanks.

I tried it again tonight. Both PC and laptop were logged off. My work unit does the same.

dave from mesa 07-05-2011 06:38 AM

I haven't had a problem so it must not be across the whole board.

392cobra 07-05-2011 07:49 AM

Haven't been any problems here.

Those that are having problems...

please post your OS version, your browser type and what version you are using.
...as well as info on any AntiVirus or 3rd party firewall software you may have installed.

FWB 07-05-2011 09:13 AM

XP home 2002 sp3.....in a dell desktop
mozilla firefox 1.0.4 file version 3.12.0.0

my new HP laptop windows 7 using internet explorer 8, or when i upgraded to 9 does the same thing......

oh the desktop has zonealarm, and i run adaware on it occasionally. i have tried disabling all antivirus to see if it was messing with me. but no change. the laptop has the same antivirus.

Ralphy 07-05-2011 10:03 AM

I also use Mozilla Firefox. Not sure which version, but I am up to date there. This has been a problem on all versions I think. I have had this issue forever.

Here it is, Vista, Mozilla Firefox 5.0 (x86 -en-US) at work it's XP. Free AVG anti virus.

I just tried my Vista/Explorer and it did the same.

Brent Mills 07-05-2011 10:55 AM

I go in from the Index page, which sometimes has me logged in and sometimes not. If not, I'll log in...always checking the box to keep me logged in...but as soon as I go "inside" to a specific thread, I have to log in again. It'll keep me logged in as I bounce around from thread to thread or in and out of the subforums, but at some point...I may have to log in again.

Not a big deal...

Ron...Windows 7, Explorer 8, Kaspersky...nothing changed/added since I got this Vaio last August. Started doing this a couple of months ago. No problem posting pics. All Mod functions work fine once I log in.

patrickt 07-05-2011 12:05 PM

I always go to this page to start: Welcome to Club Cobra...The world's largest non-biased Cobra site! - Club Cobra or I click the thread URL that's included in my email alert. Of course, from those two entry points I wander to every nook and cranny.

I am never logged out, ever. Never, ever, ever.... the only exception to that is when I intentionally clean out the history/cookies/passwords/etc. on Internet Explorer. I can't think of a single time that I ever had to log in twice or that I got logged out.

All of this holds true for all of my various machines: WinXP/IE 8, Win7/IE 9, Win2k Advanced Server/IE6, BlackBerry Curve OS/Bolt. The XP and 7 machines run Symantec/Norton Internet Security (two different versions).

Yep, never ever ever logged out.

Don 07-05-2011 12:05 PM

Never had a problem: Apple/Mac: Mac OS X 10.6.8 with Safari 5.0.5, frequently use the Reset command in Safari as a normal procedure, all 11 categories.

1. Google search, Club Cobra as the finder, using Earthlink home site, which is my opening page, returns:

Welcome to Club Cobra...The world's largest non-biased Cobra site ...
Welcome to Club Cobra...The world's largest non-biased Cobra site! - Club Cobra - 83k - 2 hours ago - similar pagesTools, favorites, discounts, forum, user cd, registration, calendar, members list, FAQ and for sale.

2. Click on above link yields:

Welcome to Club Cobra...The world's largest non-biased Cobra site! - Club Cobra

3. I then manually Log In prior to reading any Threads. Do not use the Remember Me feature.

That one's easy... you can't

Keep your Gallery images at 200k or so and there should be no problems
