Hi,

I am looking for your help concerning..........

My dream of a Cobra 289 became true in Aug. 2011. I could find a NAF 289, had a look at it in the USA and bought it.

The car`s first reg. title is from CT as a 1965 AC Cobra, VIN 34432.

I do not know how many previous owners of this car exist, however, the last owner who sold the car to me does not have certain tecnical information on the 302 engine (built in 1993/94?).

Is it possible to find the first owner of the car with the VIN and register number?

It will depend on what state it was first registered in. Some can/will do a "title search" and identify the pervious/original owner. Others do not.

Since CT does not have tiles for cars of that age(even if the registration was bogus) you will likely not have anything beyond contacting each owner in order and connecting the dots.
