Spend your money on the Kirkham. Hands down. The Superformance is a good car, but not even close to the quality or engineering of the Kirkham Cobra's. 2nd choice would be an ERA, 3rd would be a Contemporary, then a Superformance. That's only my opinion.

Kirkham, It's a no brainer. That car would of sold for $110-120K new and appears to be showroom fresh. Sweet ride to be sure!

I assume you are being sarcastic about keeping the thread alive, but with the Kirkham asking price dropping 6k, doesn't that add a new twist to the thread?
Has the SPF sold yet? Or had its asking price dropped?

Wait a minute pal-you can build TWO Cammers for $73K.
This is a nice 'starter' KMP for the asking.

I could put my dream SOHC engine in this car. Barry has one waiting for me right now, but it 'only' makes 870 HP or something. Hmmmm.

FWIW, take a closer look at those Kirkham pictures. It appears the front quick jacks are on the back, and vice versa. Swap that and the seller might get an extra $500 for originality points.

That's how original Kirkhams fit the front quick jacks...special left and right hand models were created for that fitment. Shelby had it wrong.

I have to put in a plug for the Kirkham Jason is selling. I spoke with him at length and the car would be in my garage now except that I flew up to St. Louis and bought CSX4188 on Monday. Jason was wonderful to visit with and I would have bought the car without looking at it after speaking with him. I truly think that Jason’s car is in nicer shape than the CSX car I bought, the work seems top notch on his car. I don’t know the seller at all aside from the phone calls we exchanges about his Kirkham.

I have to agree with TimG427 coment about Jason and his Kirkham. I have spoken to Jason several times also and Jason was kind enough to send me addt'l photos of his build. Great build. Jason is an engineer and was very thoughtful in his build and it appears to be 1st class. I'm sorry to see the market so depressed and a great cobra like Jason's not getting any action for the very reasonable price of $72,500.

Tim, well played IMHO. You can't go wrong with an all-aluminum Shelby continuation. Enjoy.
