There is a principle in the very strange world of Quantum Mechanics that holds that subatomic particles do not act the same when they are left alone as when they are being observed. That raises the question as to whether either or both Corvette drivers noticed the guy with the phone/camera filming them. If so, is it possible that one or both decided to answer the challenge from the other Corvette because he didn't want a video of him "losing" to show up on youtube? If that is the case, one could argue that the guy taking the video was also a factor in the accident.

It's a slightly interesting view of things, but I think most of us would agree that the guys pressing on the gas pedals were ultimately responsible for what happened. In today's world, it's naive to think that what you say or do in a public place is not being recorded by someone. If you can't take the heat for what you're about to do, don't do it.

The Hawthorne effect of street racing. I always try to improve my performance when I know someone is watching.

:LOL:Well, sure this guy blamed also his mother about his missing teeth. She actually looked when he said (paddling free-handed) "look ma what I can do" and splatted on the pavement face first:LOL::LOL:

...never though that, that little clip and the 'aftermath" could be so entertaining.
