Door panels on 427 Street Cobras

Hi all. I would like to replicate the door panels as on the original 427 Street Cobras and I was hoping someone here can answer a few questions fo me.

Colin Comer's book Shelby Cobra Fifty Years shows a great interior shot on page 132. My questions are:

1) Is the "pocket" a rigid backed vinyl/leather material covered or just a "loose" unbacked material.

2) Is the pocket bowed out or flat?

3) Is the pocket surface padded?

4) What is the covering on the door itself behind/above the pocket? Carpet or vinyl/leather or black paint?
