I bought this cobra and wanted to know if anyone know who could have made the kit. It has a 2 hole roll bar and the front frame is round tubes. If anyone knows where to look for the serial number as well. I thought it was a shellyville but not sure.

That huge flat area on the rear cockpit makes me think Street Beast.

Burk36 01-30-2012 03:59 PM

Do you know of a website for them.

Maricopa 01-30-2012 04:10 PM

Out of business. Do some web searches and you should find some info and be able to better tell if that's what it is for sure. Pretty sure there are SB owners here that can help too.

Burk36 01-30-2012 04:25 PM

I looked at the web and the frame does not look like mine. Mine is like round tubes.

Beastly 01-30-2012 04:47 PM

Not a streetbeast/CMC/fiberfab. The side vent holes on streetbeast are closer to the front fender and the rear fender would not have a lip on a CMC/Fiberfab. Though the flat piece on rear of cockpit is usually a streetbeast give away. The angle of the windshield seems a little more verticle than most that may be a clue?

Is there not a vin tag on the passenger side rail below your alternator?

Burk36 01-31-2012 08:55 AM

I looked at the rail and the frame going up to the upper control arm on the passenger Side of the car and I see no tags or numbers on the frame.

rustyBob 01-31-2012 03:48 PM

that might be an older Shell Valley but they didnt use a round tube frame...
we need better pics.

Looks kinda like a Lonestar body with the dash Modded

CoolCarl 01-31-2012 05:05 PM

The windshield rake reminds me of Pacific Roadster.

burk,,,,,,,,Compare your car with the red MIDSTATES in my gallery. Check through the whole gallery. This car was 4 inch round tube frame, 9 inch with 4link with panard bar, mustang II type front suspension, sway bar visible in nose opening. It had a clearly visible vin stamped in the frame, but I can't remember location other than in the front. (check the X brace behind the radiator) Don't pay any attention to the windshield angle or the dash layout. Try more details & better pictures..........Ron
