SAAC-37 is the 37th annual convention of the Shelby American Automobile Club, which is taking place Jun 7-9 at Watkins Glen race track. The convention is a mix of car show, vendor stalls, social gatherings and optional track time. I put together a summary of the event over at the FFR forum if you want more info. It'll be my first time going.
I am familiar with BRM and had contacted them back when I was shopping for my Cobra replica. And I once met a guy from Hawkesbury who built his own BRM.
I know what it's like to yearn for one of these wonderful beasts. My wait took about 33 years, but it was worth it. I used to wonder if the reality of owning a Cobra could ever live up to the fantasy of it. But the good news is: It does!!
