Aint that the truth!!!! I'm second owner on mine, the first owner rarely drove it. And that is typical of MANY of the Cobras. I drive mine every chance I get, it is for ME, not the next guy!
Mine runs about 210-220 (as shown by the gauge).
Cracked headers? Whew, I've had mine welded 3 or 4 times over the last two years, and they need welding AGAIN!
I'm buying Headers and Side pipes from Don Scott (Classic Roadster). Of course I don't have to run catalytic converters here so thats why I can do that.
