Can't wait to try it. I'll have to get my wife's iPhone as I have an old Crackberry. How does a great phone like the Blackberry go out of business so quickly?

The very first listing after their names is the 60' ET listing

Dan,
I can't tell if you are joking or not. The OP is talking about 0-60 MPH, not 0-60 feet.

I measured street driving 0-60 mph on my G-tech meter several years ago. On the street, without preheating the tires, I was consistently 2.8 seconds 0-60 mph the couple times I checked it. The meter showed my 60 foot time as 1.8 seconds, which sounds about right on unprepped pavement (public street). Cheers.

a few years back Coach was going to change his 5.0 EFI motor. I suggested he take Doc and his G-Tec to check his 0 to 60 time before he installed the 408.
a few days later he was complaining about his 4.9 times. I asked if he had the top on his Cobra and he answered, Yes. Did you have all that junk in the trunk? Yes. 60 lbs of stuff. Did Doc ride with you? Yes. How cold was it? 45 degrees. It was January.
Well not bad time on street tires in an industrial park at night, cold night.
He never did check out the 408 before he sold the car.

When I had mine I was in the 2.7 to 3.0 range for zero to 60 MPH on street tires consistently. I never tried it with the road racing tires on it. Also the streets made a difference as some of them are hard to jump from pothole to pot hole on.

I think in my case it actually helps that I only have 450 ft/lbs of torque, unlike the stump pullers some of you guys are running.

According to the formula Hotfinger found: 2.3 sec for 0-60.
I actually think it is right around 2.5, given my 60' is a little slow for the 1/8th mile time and speed I get. My Cobra is set-up for road racing and I dont run wrinkle walls. I do have to baby the beast off the line, but she spools up pretty quick after the initial launch.

Voyager - funny about the squealing - I find that mine hardly squeal much at all when they break loose on acceleration - even on good dry pavement, but they do howl embarrassingly when pushed too hard in corners.

Weird… Mine chirp loudly off idle and squeal when they spin. I’m running 22 PSI in the rears. To the opposite, I have ultra high performance tires on a heavily modified Miata and they have minimal squeal…more like a scrubbing sound when they slip/drift.

Could be the pressure difference - I run 27psi. Mine scrub away with a slight whirring sound, quieter and less smoke than other softer tires I have run. No tires have lasted on the rear of my car anywhere near as long as those BFG's. Just for fun, I'll go down to 22psi and see what happens.

John,
That is a big improvement on the earlier ones that some of us around here had. I may even get one of them when I get the Coupe back. It looks as if it is a lot easier to use than the older models.

Hey thanks for posting, equipment looks interesting. Some of us old timers could have used that decades ago. Still have the stop watch though.

Interesting posts for sub 3 second 0-60 times. My old Cobra had the 485hp 460BB motor. My G-tech at the time on the street, I could never get below low 4 second 0-60. However with the same street tires on the track. I ran an 11.90 1/4 mile time at 118mph. 60ft times were about 1.7-1.8 seconds. When comparing the 1/4 mile and 60ft times to supercar performance in Road & Track and Car and Driver, I would peg my car at 3.7 seconds 0-60. There are very few street cars running street tires (even 335's) that achieve less than low 3 second 0-60 times...
