Serious question...not to be snarky, but do they sell any of these cars?

Mostly EU? ...Asia?

Car Nut 04-24-2012 03:42 PM

Sure they do, in Snarkyville

I like the Zagato. Seems to be a mix of features from other modern supercars, but I like it.

Those Pics are great .London . Thanks for sharing.
I for one, am pleased AC cars are up and running again.,
With the new management team and a facility that can actually build their cars for them, I see no reason that at last they won`t succeed.
13, I agree fully re the 378 .I took a bit of time to come around, but this colour really works for me and now can`t get enough.

Some nice looking cars there...

Nice looking cars.

Interesting snippet from the article: "AC MkVI – this continuation model of the AC classic follows the lines of the legendary Cobra family and is produced by AC Automotive GmbH. It combines a 430 bhp V8 engine unit as used in the Corvette with outstanding German build quality."

A German built Cobra with a Corvette engine :JEKYLHYDE  That is just wrong in soooo many ways!

Zagato could pass as a modern Cheetah.

The Zagato looks exactly like the Superformance Perana

Superformance Distribution is proud to announce their appointment as the US distributors of the exclusive Perana Z–One Coupe. The Perana Z–One will be unveiled at this year’s prestigious “Concorso Italiano” which is being held on the Laguna Seca Golf Ranch in Monterey, California on August 13th, 2010.

Better looking than the Shelby Series 1 IMHO.

computerworks 04-25-2012 12:19 PM

Not the old Series 1...the Ford Coupe Concept car, the GR-1

A new holding company, AC Cars(EU) Ltd has been registered in Cyprus by Alan Lubinsky.

Alan Lubinsky together with Jimmy Price (Hi Tech, South Africa), Jurgen Mohr (AC Automotive, Germany) and Steve Gray (AC Heritage, Brooklands, England) are the directors of this holding company and will work together to build and sell ACs, whilst maintaining their own separate companies. So what we have here are three separate companies producing different AC models - AC Heritage, traditional aluminium Cobras, Hi Tech, composite Mk11 and 378GT and AC Automotive, composite MkVI, with the holding company chaired by General Sir Jeramy Mackenzie coordinating the operation.

According to the Editor of the AC Owners' Club magazine, the MkVI is built to Audi and Mercedes standards and will go on sale in the UK this Summer with the 378 GT following in the Autumn, once an interior upgrade has been completed.

Yep Ron, thats the GR-1 I like! It's the Series 1 CSX 5k that Carroll actually built I'm not crazy about. Cant put my finger on it, just not pleasing to MY eye. Gary P has driven them and has said the car is really sorted and runs out well, especially the few with superchargers.

london 04-26-2012 01:18 AM

Carroll Shelby wouldn't have objected!

Jamo 04-26-2012 04:35 AM

Geez Ron, why ya gotta be so snarky?

If Price is involved, this dog might hunt.

bret a ewing 04-26-2012 06:00 AM

Phansm72 04-26-2012 07:58 AM

I coughed too hard and left a snarky in my shorts.
