I went to SAAC-37 this past weekend at the Glen. Shelby didn't have a merchandise trailer there, but had some of the newer Shelby Mustangs on display, but no Cobras. They were giving out the memorial decals and I talked the guy into giving me a few of them. PM me your address and I'll mail you one until I run out. Here's some pictures of the cars they had there.

Hi all. In defense of the seller of the decals on e-bay, the seller is a registered children's center charity in California and the proceeds of the sales go to a children's center. This same charity has raffled off a Shelby Cobra yearly for the past few years and shows the Cobra at many car events each year. I just spoke with them this morning at the Pismo Beach car show and was happy to buy a few decals from them. They are trying to get more printed up so they can start giving them away when people buy raffle tickets.

If proceeds are going to a good cause, well then, that's a different story. I guess I overreacted. It's just that there's a couple guys in my area that think nothing of personal profit at the expense of other's misfortune. Carroll would smile at helping kids. |
