I like the black side pipes. Just wondering what kind of coating is on them. They look great with the rest of the black wheels & roll bar.

Wolf k,

Thank you, I run 275 50 15 in the front and 325 50 15 on the rear with a 27” ground to fender lip measurement. It used to rub on the inner wheel house at about the 10 o’clock position at full jounce. So far it hasn’t rubbed since I cut out and reshaped the offending area.

Glenn,
I would love to take credit for the windscreen design, but that goes to Mr. Pat Buckley and KMP 357. Surprisingly, it actually works pretty well, I will report back how it works at higher speeds once I get the car shaken down.

Rick,
Yes I made it using the factory SPF pedal with a Wilwood balance bar tube. For an extra margin of safety and stiffness, I plasma cut and welded in a piece of .250 steel plate that forms the large radius adjacent to the tube assy.

John,
I am planning on being there. That my only real complaint about living in the “Valley of the dirt people” I miss all of my friends a lot.

Brandx,
Everything except the pipes is done in a standard satin black power coat. The pipes are satin black ceramic coate

Steve,
The MKIII turn signal/hi beam lever is usually on the right side of the column.
(there are a couple of interior shots here)
Superformance MK III

Your setup seems to have the same lever, but on the LH side. Never seen one set up that way (until now!).
Looks good. Nice work throughout!!!

Hey Allen,

Thanks! Nice to here from you. Hows things up north?

Jim,

its interesting because the small lock screw is hidden on the bottom of the housuing. if the lever was on the right it would be visible on top?
Things that make ya go Hmmmmm

Thanks for the compliment
