Rear Ended-Resurrection
It took quite a bit longer than I hoped, but it’s finally a car again and I DIG IT!!!
The short list of changes: Low metallic Silver ALA 1955 Mercedes 300 Satin Black powder coated wheels Hood vents with stainless screens Double comp wind screen (a big Thank you to Nick and Bonnie Acton. note this is a tough piece to build and fit correctly. Nick and I have many hours in it.) Yep its the same car! Doesnt look like it to me either The color is cool (to me a least LOL) it has a glint in the sun But under flourecent lights it looks like shiney primer! I did a scotch-bright finish on all metal parts and fasteners I used all titanium and 718 NAS,AN and MS bolts whereever i could It probably has $3k worth of bolts if i had to Pay for them The steering wheel bolts are 100deg,718, torx heads that my cust sells for $27 ea. I used 9 lol |
