Default shiping to New South Wales, Australia?

I have had some interest from New South Wales, Australia for 3 cobras I know that they have to be right hand drive (Not a problem ) but I need to know what moor I will run into for Australian vehicle compliance regulations. How do it get this info. I have heard that it would have to be shipped in parts is this true?

Hi Bill,
I would think that it would be prohibitively expensive if not impossible to get a new imported cobra registered for road use in NSW. Basically if it is 30years old you can get it registered and keep it LHD if it is 25years old you can get it complied and registered but it needs to be RHD. The car has to be a genuine 30 years old car not registered as a 1965 whatever. Make sure whoever you are talking to has done some research on the issues, there are many.
No good news here I'm afraid.

Thanks Guys that was very helpful. It looks like it is doable, just a lot of hoops to jump through. I have shipped Vodka there and it was a lot of work but I had a lot of help from officials on that end. Hopefully that will be true this time as well
