Monterey Week Update Thread

****************************** Well, Sherrie and I arrived at the Seascape resort this morning after a long road trip down the coast taking our time and seeing the sights. Checked into the room at 2pm and relaxing for a bit....but hearing all the Cobras coming in! Tomorrow a bunch of us are going to the Concorso Italiano for the day, and I'll report back with pics, etc. Saturday I'll be spending the morning on the track with a media pass, then will be hanging out in the Cobra Corral. Sunday we'll be at the Concours d'Elegance taking a bunch of pics and will be reporting back as well. Those of you who are down here, please say hi if ya see me before I see you. :) |

Hey Brent it will be great to meet if we can. I met several folks from CC I've known for years and never met before. Good time today at the racing seminar with Pete Brock, Allen Grant, Lew Spencer and John Morton.

I'll be posting some pics later tonight from the Concorso Italiano << I know, I know, not exactly Ford products, but it was really fun to drive out early through a sea of Ferrari's with the Cobras and GT's :) I'll also post pics from down near the auctions tonight (still need to take those - heading out in a bit).

Hi Brent, nice to have met you in person at the track today. Hope you managed to get some great shots of the action on the track and in the paddocks.
I have many shots from this week that I need to organize and upload so I can share them. But words cannot express how heartbroken I am that my camera battery died midday today, and that I missed shooting the 1 o'clock Cobra race and many of the cars in the paddock and in the Cobra Corral. AUGH!!! |

It's overwhelming here this year in terms of Cobras and Shelby stuff. After Brent posts his great photos, I will come back mid week and post a few from Concorso and the reunion too.
