Well I went out and test drove the SPF. What a blast. Car was in remarkable condition with a few issues:
Ignition switch was very finicky and required me the shake the key in order to get it to start. Pretty surprising for only 600 miles.
The fuel gauge was also not working. Once again surprising for a car with 600 miles.
The rest of the car was perfect with the undercarriage looking brand new.
Best part was my wife's face after her ride. I was sure she would complain about the exhaust, fumes... Instead she said I love it!
Looks like I will be getting SPF 1741!

Ignition switch is not an uncommon problem, there is a better replacement available from NAPA for around $25.00. Likely fuel sender has a bad float, again not a big deal.

You made a good choice and you will now get the secret code to the SPF web site. Great group of guys there and I hope you really enjoy your new Cobra.

I think if they charged $10 or less in the end they would make more. Hell even for free it is advertising for their products.
Strange

Besides SCOF there is Second Strike - the Superformance Owners Group
Both work together, but are separate entities.
