2. Correct. Classic Aerosmith. Classic rock for a classic muscle car.
3. Yes, you did spy a Ford GT in the reflection. Nice catch.
4. Patrick, thanks. Son is a Junior in college and started his own automotive " blog" on Facebook that seems to have taken off.

Glad you guys liked it.

Uh, technically the Cobra is not a classic musclecar. But hey, whatever floats the boat. :p

And unless you're Michael Sarrazin in a 36-year old movie, I wouldn't be caught wearing driving gloves rolling down the streets of suburbia. But that's me.

Awww, c'mon... if he wants to wear driving gloves what's the harm? I have a couple of toy Cobras sitting on my desk and, from time to time, people have overheard me going vroomm, vrooom with them. They just politely ignore me.;)

He might as well complete the ensemble with a tweed hat, bowtie and scarf.

REAL 1 12-19-2012 11:39 AM

No, sunglasses and my leather jacket completes the ensemble. ;)

okaaaaaay. Other than Harley owners, you definitely don't see much leather out here. You know, we're PETA-kinda people here in CA. Maybe it's an East Coast West Coast thing.

computerworks 12-19-2012 12:44 PM

The gloves complete the fantasy.

Hopefully, if you rode shotgun, then you made him take off the leather jacket gloves before you got into the car.

Jamo 12-20-2012 04:07 AM

All BS aside...damn nice video! The "old girl" still looks good, Evan. ;)

As for the gloves...you are not alone, although I prefer long black ones on the lady. Oh my.

rodneym 12-20-2012 02:53 PM

Nice video and beautiful car, Evan.

But I must ask (because you seem pretty meticulate), why you left the 'SHELBY S/C' badges instead of '427 COBRA FORD' ones?

REAL 1 12-20-2012 04:23 PM

Fantasy can be good. To an extent I think most here are driving/ own cars of their dreams.

Yes, Ron likes to bust my balls. We go way back. One of most fun times in my Cobra is when we travelled to Ohio for the Spring Fling Cobra event. We trailered the Cobra out there and it was as pristine as in the video but by the time we were done tearing around the Ohio country side in it it looked nearly as filthy as as Bannon's Cobra in Gumball but it was a blast. Took me a week to clean it.

Jamo and others. Thanks. Glad you guys liked the vid.

Rodeym: Didn't change the side badges as they're standard fare on Continuation Cobras and that's what it is.

Smacks of self-promotion to me.

And stop obsessing on the Bannon character in Gumball. Holy cow. **)
