Default Axle nut, boot,pt # help

Any help with part # for early superformance 645, axle nut and outer boot.
Axle nut seems to keep working loose on driver side, sure hope it's not the bearing issue. Outer boot on pass side rubs the lower a arm.

Ford dealer just scratched his head when asked about axle nut.. So I knew better than even ask about boot.

Thanks

Call Dennis Olthoff over in Mt. Ulla. Get his phone number off his website. If anyone has the parts and knowledge it is Dennis. Tom

Dennis is the man to call... As he may have discovered something better than the original parts to use.

FYI: From my notes:

Pre 1590 Chassis
All Superformance chassis up till chassis 1590 used Ford CV joints. These OEM joints used an encapsulated nut just as was used in their OEM application. These chassis have no loosening problem and can continue to use the original encapsulated nut. Note: Be aware that this nut should be replaced any time it is removed for service.

Boots:
Looking thru my notes I came across this...
Outboard Boot: RPM #86-2119
Inboard Boot: RPM #86-2287

Cross-referencing the above numbers I find:
Neapco
Inboard: #85-1103
Outboard: #85-1379
Driveline System and Parts for OEM & Aftermarket | Neapco.
Unverified - Use at you own risk...

Default 347, Blas,, thanks.

Thanks guys.

I talk with Dennis Monday evening and also just a few minutes ago. Thinks he may have the boots. So I'm going there early Thursday morning, axle in hand, and have them put the boot on. It's a 140 mile round trip, but if he's got the right boot I'd spend that much time and gas trying to hunt one. Even then if lucky finding one.

Blas, pt#'s were a big help. I'll retain this page for later info.

Thanks again,
