Actually, the road draft tube should be going straight down to the bottom of the bellhousing, as it appears you have done, Evan...not over the footwell as Steve had it.

Some caps were light tan in color as well... That engine looks as close to period correct as I could possibly afford (without investing in original parts). In my case I guess if I wanted an original engine I would need to buy an original car. Not happening. Evan, I think it is a pretty darn good job.
I'm not gonna ask you to send me your girlfriend down here like Mike suggested, but we have no rules down here in LA, and I could make some suggestions.:LOL:
