Hi all,

In an economic environment that does not encourage spending, re investment, research and development, Absolute Pace in Australia has bucked the advisors and gone for it.....:)

If you guys get a moment jump over onto the Australian site and check out the two Threads Craig has up on our Australian Forum.

The unveiling of the Absolute Pace car and Craig's new factory are two examples of plain old Australians - having a bloody good go...:)

Well done to Craig and the gang.

Our dollar is quite high - parity close - at $1.04 today, but once this settles down to a realistic $0.90 or thereabouts, Absolute Pace will be a sure winner for you guys over the pond.

I will be at S.E.M.A in November and at the NHRA racing at Pomona the following days, so will check out opportunities for Craig there...

In the interim have a look at what Absolute Pace are up toooooo....:cool:

I am at S.E.M.A this year with three race car manufacturers and drag race team owners, so may catch up with all of those people I owe a beer tooo..:3DSMILE:

How's the Kirkham...:confused:

I am heading from South Australia up to Craig on the Gold Coast in Queensland next Friday. It is around 3000 kilometres - so will see about 14000 kilometres on my Kirkham. Just run in.

3000k is about - 1800 miles....

Doing the trip over four days - # 1. South Australia to Geelong. Then Geelong to West Wyalong for the New South Wales cobra event. Then onto Tamworth overnight. Last day Tamworth to the coast road, then straight up to the Gold Coast.

I have had a very good roof and side curtains made, as it is literally the middle of winter here, with tops of 18c - about your mid 60f.

:LOL:...Mmmmm but "it's a dry heat there" I bet.

I have been talking to Hershal and he had the Texas Cobra Club at his Frederickburg home in Texas. Over 150 people turned up and he and Paula catered for everyone.

But unfortunately.... :eek:....there is no launch pad, so Mikiec and the Az. Cobra gang there would not have enjoyed the day..:LOL:

I am about to give the aluminium body a good wash over and spray clean to get ready for next week. Just one of my weekend prep tasks.

Really looking forward to seeing Absolute Pace and the progress they are making on their cars. They're in full production mode now..
