To answer your question, what I have is not exactly a Kellison. Back in 1977 I lived in Sacramento. I started my Cobra project by purchasing a body from Gordon Gimble who was a Merchant Marine and operated Cobra Performance in his off times. I picked the body up from Jim Kellison in Lincon, CA a small town north of Sacramento. I will try to be brief, but this is good history. It was Kellison who splashed the body and shortly after was building the cars sold by Steve Arntz. The Kellison /Arntz collaboration went on for a while and then they might have had some sort of falling out. That's where I came in. Two guys, Don Gilby and Tom Robinson, operating as G&R Engineering, who I met while they were working for Kellison, hooked up with Arntz and they started building the Arntz cars out of a shop in Sacramento they leased from me. That's how my car came about, as they were to complete my car in exchange for some free rent. Well they almost completed it before they were shut down by the IRS for non payment of payroll taxes. Afterwords, Kellison continued on his own building the Stallion which is what I believe you have. To make a long story short, Gilby finally did get my car finished while he was working for a fellow whose name escapes me. I lost track of them after that but somehow there has to be a connection to Ron Butler because the Butler cars are almost identical to my car with the exception of the roll bar which is distinctively Arntz, large with a forward brace attached to the floor on the passenger side.

Back to the glass, I'm not sure what you mean by the number on my glass. There is a small Royal Dalton label in the lower center of the windshield and if there is a number I will need stronger glasses to read it. The windshield was purchased around 1977 from G&R and I don't know where they got it. I'm sure from Kellison or the same supplier he was using. There can't have been many back then. Maybe Gimble as he was supplying original Cobra parts at that time. At this time I am still trying to locate glass that will fit.
You mentioned if I replaced the whole thing you would be interested in purchasing my frame but my question is what would you do for glass? Does the whole frame have to be removed from the car to replace the glass? Anything else you could do to help would be appreciated. I have just recently sold the car but I can't ship it to it's new owner until I get the windshield fixed. I am almost 100% sure that your windshield and mine are exactly the same. What year was your car built? Thanks for all your help, Clark
