Top Gear is fun entertainment with a car theme. If you want all the boring car facts, watch 5th Gear.

I was doing some research on gas concoctions for very old autos and race cars and had the show on last night. Glad I was not paying attention the three took old American 4 wheel drive trucks to Iceland to travel where no one has any business going in deep snow.

I tend to agree and not to be a snob either but it is like the difference between flannel and pin point cotton. Prefer the English version. By the way I will watch a NASCAR race and enjoy it.

I tried to watch it last night. Couldn't make it through but I did try.

I guess they were running the older shows this morning. was outside with my children in the pool and put it on. What a bunch of schmucks...three cars converted to moterhomes. Where is the "top gear" at?

I watched one of the reruns with my boys and we had fun. It is definitely a weak attempt at copying the British version, but in the right mindset I can still enjoy them. On the other hand, as an owner and admirer of the Porsche 928 I was a little disappointed at the camper show, especially when the 928 broke down feet from the finish line. This is not a fair representation of the 928 but then again the Brits bashed on one pretty hard too.
