Sorry about that but my wife tells me that photo was edited out and I guess that I didn't notice. But I'm glad you posted your shot as I didn't have that one.

Hey lamaluv the car looks pretty nice but is also very old. Saw a almost new ERA on Cobra Country last month that was cheaper than your car with some minor engine problem. How come are you askin so much?

I just sold my Cobra on Cobra Country, but I got got over it fairly quickly by placing an order for a Superlite Coupe

I'd say the price the OP is asking is pretty reasonable for an ERA with a FE and stack injection. The Cobra market is hot right now - it took me a whole three days to sell mine.

From where I sit... That ERA represents good value.

If the paperwork is as clear and kosher (as advertised) I'm tipping that it may find its way over this side of the pond.

Ps: its where my cobra funds would go if I wasn't already committed.
Just saying.

Best of luck with the sale - looks like a real beauty.

I am sure the old girl would love a trip across the pond but I'm thinking I would never get to see her again. Mixed emotions here. A good home were she will be treated right and gets used is going to be the most important criteria.

I was lucky that way. The new owner is great about caring for it and staying in touch.

I hope so too.
002 is quite an historic ERA.
I'd also hate to see it become chartreuse with 20" wheels or such nonsense.

That's easy... just negotiate a couple of return airfares into the price

Just on the side, while I was drooling over the pics you have posted on cobra country, it just clicked that you are in Idaho, near Boise?

We have a couple of boys on basketball scholarships playing for Boise State Uni. Not sure if you know Anthony Drimic and Iggy Hadziomerovic, they are a couple of handy guards. I have known these two boys for a very log time (Iggy - since he was 6). They were also part of a state rep team I was involved in. Anyway if your car does end up over here, at least you'll have a couple of Aussies there to remind you of the connection.

take care,

Boise State University seems to like players from all over the globe. The football team has 2 players from Holland. Your 2 boys on the basketball team are doing a great job for Boise. Especially Anthony, as he was the team points leader the 12-13 season. We expect great things from them both this season.

I'm kinda getting there myself so I bought a 500SL to take on long trips. Easier to get in and out of and has a removable top so I can still get the wind in my hair - BUT it ain't a COBRA so I'm gonna drive mine until I need a hoist to get in and out and then I'll pass it on to someone younger. Tough choice but it's gonna get all of us sooner or later - at least you had 9 years of fun!! Some never do.

I checked out the club cobra ad and read the history. Very cool to document all the owners and visit them. If someone had brought one of my old cars to show me that would just make my day.

With ERA 002 having such a well documented history, it begs the question if ERA 001 has such a rich history also?

Carl the rumors that I have heard are that EXP001 may still be owned by it's original owner.

God..It is like putting down a beloved pet
However, Motorheads Mustang "withdraw" idea may work for you. I am 67 and have a cherry 1990 GT 5.0 5 speed convertible (50k miles) that I plan to hang onto for this very reason...Good luck....ox

Nothing against GM. Great cars. However, I never ever could understand why anyone would put a GM, Mopar or any other motor but a Ford in a cobra. I actually remember seeing one with a VW engine. OMG..Barf..........

Bill I'm glad to hear that Randy still has the car. Wish I could keep mine forever but it just can't be so. No matter how much I wish to have my youth back.

Sorry Ox but I was an Army pilot most of my life and "GOING DOWN IN FLAMES" is definitely NOT on my to do list. I'll just settle for going out in style thanks.
