headers and sidepipes

Any recommendations for new headers and side pipes for a late 90's NAF with a 428 big block?

Need more information. How much HP? stainless or mild steel? R u looking for performance, or is noise an issue?

Headers have developed a crack. I figure that since I have to remove them to weld I might consider just getting new. Build sheet back in the 90's says 525+ HP. Noise isn't an issue with my present setup...although I don't want it real loud in the future.

If they are not rusted out i think i would just have them welded. At your horsepower level custom pipes probably will not make any difference, but might look better (Custom headers and sidepipes around 2500.00)

Classic Chambered Exhaust makes several mufflers (core size and length) to choose from.

2500? maybe out of stainless.....mild steel will be half that.
2500 price would tell me the wrong shop is doing it.

Yes U (FWB) are correct. I was referencing custom stainless pipes. I should have clarified my statement, however; why don't U offer up some suggestions instead of seeking a weakness in my remarks.

I think if you are talking new headers and new side pipes $2500 is more realistic. I'm not familiar with stainless costs but I can tell you ceramic coating alone is $600 for the complete set and that only leaves you $1900 for mufflers and fab. Might have a little left over to buy a tank of gas. but you are in the ballpark.
