NAME THAT COBRA.....Okay guys here is some more pictures...I finally got the car home today, runs like a champ...He was saying he thought it was a older B&B but he couldn't remember since it has had several owners...One cool thing about it is the title actually says 1967 Shelby..I will be needing a lot of help being this is my first cobra I have owned..so anyone from or near Burlington NC...I also own a 65 Mustang fastback Shelby Clone to...any fastback owners in the crowd...Thanks guys, One more thing I need a few parts for the car that's why I'm trying my best to figure this out...Hood latch, trunk latch, door trunk and hood rubber also...And power steering ....Yes Yes I know, but I purchased this car for my wife and see really wants power steering.....last thing I need is low profile seat tracks since she cannot reach the peddles....Thank you so much and I look forward to talking with you all...

At first I though it was an old B&B or LA Exotics from the overall picture, but the detail pictures don't look right. The door sills are to thin. The engine is farther back compared to the foot box. There is molded glass work in the corners of the hood opening. The roll bar is too close to the cowl opening. Unless, this one of the first versions of LA Exotics.

What keeps the rear axle straight? The four link bars are straight. Is there a pan hard rod?

Smile

jgroce1985 where do you live?

We have several Uniques in our group and Unique Motorcars is just 2 1/2 hrs southeast of us.

You must have one of the very early Uniques

I was thinking Unique Motorcars looking at the pics, right up until I saw the live axle. I've never seen one with anything but a jag IRS. Pick up the phone and give them a call. They're a nice, rock solid car with fantastic customer support. You won't find a nicer family to deal with in this business.

I wasn't aware Unique every build a straight axle car either. Maybe someone took the IRS out and put that straight axle in. It is a pretty car - needs some parts and finishing.
