Let's see your color combos...

I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on a new Backdraft. I have Gray in mind, but all options are on the table right now. Post your cars with Color year and make.

Here's one you don't see every day: Blue with white LeMans stripes.

I hear beige is making a comeback.

If I were to go with a Backdraft, then I'd think "outside the box" and go with something unique like those "blacked out" editions with Ash Grey. A Smurf blue or even plain jane vintage white with no scoop.

Again, I'd think unique, since Backdraft offers such a variety of colors coming directly from the factory.

Good luck.

Unique is great until you may have or want to sell, then you may have a hard time.

I hear ya. I can pick any factory color for the Car and Stripes. As long as I have a color code. I was leaning toward a dark gray with gray ghost stripes.

You know colors don't look the same in real life as they do on a computer screen.

With the exception of blue with white stripes. If you paint it with that combo it'll look exactly like every other blue and white Cobra that's out there.

What style of wheels and tyres are you thinking?

For me that dictates the cars "style" and therefore it's colour.

For example:

If you're going 15's with traditional tyres with period looking tread like billboards then I'd go for a traditional colour like maroon, dark blue, etc...

If you're thinking 18's and boy racer tread like Toyos or similar... I'm thinking something racy like yellow, or Lamborghini lime green, or similar... Even white as per pick above.

For me it's all about the package.
That said there are some colours that lends themselves to both.

Very nice zombie, really like the window mounted mirrors, are those Raydots done in a flat black paint or black anodized?
