I won't say never, but, Billboards will never (oops) be installed on my car, if I'm the owner. I'd buy a 17" setup before Billboards.
Fran needs to sharpen his pencil and get moving. I think he needs to formulate a price that is more palatable to a wider Cobra replica audience. Just because there's someone out there willing to pay $10K for a real set of mag Halibrand's doesn't mean he can get 20-25 buyers at $5,000 per set. Kirkham should make a billet wheel option, "sandblast" (or whatever the finest material is nowadays) the face and paint the centers "that gold" color. I'd see myself as a buyer. |
