Unless you're driving a car or truck with poor rearward vision, how about you old farts actually turning your head instead of relying solely on a backup camera. Gee whiz, call it exercise.

Maybe, you also require three large pedals with big letters that read:

CLUTCH, BRAKE, GAS.

Gotta admit, the backup cameras in the daily drivers have saved a few of our cats. Our old (16) alpha male Chase likes to sit there and look right into the camera (the Bimmer 6's rear emblem rotates open and the camera peeks out, catching his attention)...like he knows that you're watching him watching you watching him...until he slowly walks off to the side flipping his tail.

Thankfully, not even Chase comes within 50 feet once the Cobra starts up.
