One more thing - golf can be very demanding physically - until you have driven around carrying a heavy bottle of beer and swung a metal club 150 - 200 times - then spent hours crashing through weeds and underbrush looking for your balls you need to remain silent ;)

They are cars and as such meant to be driven and enjoyed. Standing in the parking lot looking at your car as you pull on your pecker and discuss pedigree is crazy. Get in the thing and drive %/

Hillary is an ass and if she or you can't figure out what difference it make both of you are clueless and she never should be in a position of public trust again ever.

I don't pontificate. I let the Registry do my talking to counter those tryi g to devalue what they don't own. Lets get that one straight.

Drive my Shelby every weekend almost during the season. Almost 8000 miles now.

As to pecker pulling...well you seem to know more about than me.

You said you felt more honest driving your ERA. So that must mean you felt less honest driving your Kirkham. That's how I understand it and it doesn't make any sense to me.

And it's wonderful you took up golf after racing and there's no doubt that it's challenging, but you also stated the folks that pontificate with our keyboards here aren't coordinated or athletically built.

Well, I'd like to stand up for those of us that "pontificate with our keyboards" here on CC, yet are coordinated and athletically built, but can't play golf worth a crap.

Just giving you a hard time Pat. :)

Listen you Asp!

I never drink while playing golf. It is hard enough to do sober. As for swinging he club 150-200 times? I am way better than that! 110 times!

:)

I know, RN. As I hope you know, I was doing the same thing.:)

I don't come around here often but sometimes, when I scan through some of the thread topics, I see one that looks like it may be interesting so I check it out.

Seems like nothing has changed.

GeorgiaSnake 06-18-2014 03:44 PM

Funny - I have been away for years and decided to pop in and see what's up. Same old poop - mine is real your isn't.

Nothing will ever change my mind "Real Ones" are the originals - EVERTHING after that is a copy - continuation cars - they are real in the sense that you can feel them when you touch them - beyond that - copies.

I am reporting this post to the Moderators due to the ban on politics.:)

This is at least the 2nd time he's recently tried to derail a CC thread into politics. Ban! :p

REAL 1 06-18-2014 04:52 PM

Politics first alluded to in post #59.

Georgia Snake: Yes. We get it. In "your mind things will never change". Exactly the extent of it.

I do agree. Same CC channel, same CC poop.;)

Damn, this gets tiring.

With all due respect... I think its therapeutic.
...At least to those same protagonists that continually post spouting the same message.

For mine - There are "facts" and there are "beliefs".

"Facts" can create a "belief" (eg: Evan & the SAAC Registry, or religions).

BUT

Equally "beliefs" can also create a "fact" (eg: Cobras are cobras cos they look like cobras, and everyone(else except for Evan's crew) calls "cobras", or again religions).

No fact can ever change one's belief.
There are many thesis and philosophical discussion done on this stuff... It's akin to "one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter".

PS: Moderators can now close this thread 'cos of politics and NOW Religion... :p

Jamo 06-18-2014 06:50 PM

Here's the thing...I can't see the damn golf ball. Pat is "built" for it...he's much closer to the ball.

Agreed. That's why I Stay in shape.

Jamo 06-18-2014 07:14 PM

Here's a thought...instead of you folks forcing me to close threads (which I actually hate to do)...

...why don't y'all just stop posting in a thread you don't like and let it die a natural death.

OMG...what a rad idea!

Now I'm even wrong in the use of the word "poop"?:JEKYLHYDE  Well I do have to cede to you guys on that subject since there is no group I have ever seen that can produce more of it.

Dimis: you must have flunked theology and English class. "Belief" and "fact are polar opposites.

Jamo 06-18-2014 07:20 PM

Yes on theology.
Yes on English (its my second language).
...and yes, they certainly can be somewhat opposites, but seemingly not mutually exclusive.

Always knew you were quite astute. :D

This is a brilliant analogy.

Evan does certainly "cling" to his copy of "the authoritative book", when it serves him. Just like folks do with all sorts of other books.
