Default First GoPro video of my Cobra need help

There is an annoying clicking noise as you will see I am guessing from the mount moving around?

Also downloaded the GoPro editing software and when I try to launch it I get a parsing error?

Weird...never heard that kind of noise before, whether in cobra or our LeMons cars (which is noisy as hell).

Mount or something else tapping something?

How close to the windshield is it mounted? Almost sounds like the housing is vibrating into something.

It was mounted pretty close to the windshield. Someone else mentioned the noise stopped when I would go through the curves, very strange.

It's common.

What you need to do is fold up a piece of paper (or a dollar bill) and put it inside the case, between the case and camera.

Great thanks! I like where you mounted it on the back, might try that next time.

My wife gave me a GoPro a few weeks ago and I tried mounting it on the rear deck. Unfortunately at anything above 30 or 35 mph the wind noise started to really affect the sound. I recently tried it secured to the inside windshield on my muffler delete Mustang GT that normally is very loud. I was expecting a "Bullet" video but the sound was so low that it wasn't impressive at all. I need to figure out how to get better sound recorded - maybe a remote microphone pickup.

But I haven't had the noise you are reporting.

I bought one of these and put in under the seat, out of the wind. Works very well with my GoPro: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATR-3350-Omnidirectional-Condenser-Microphone/dp/B002HJ9PTO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1403812989&sr=8-1&keywords=lapel+microphone"]Amazon.com: Audio-Technica ATR-3350 Lavalier Omnidirectional Condenser Microphone: Musical Instruments@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/414RVtnYuuL.@@AMEPARAM@@414RVtnYuuL[/ame]

Thanks - I guess you had to drill a hole in the clear case to plug it in?

I would recommend keeping the waterproof case and buying a open sided case from the bay for $15

You can drill a hole, or buy a "skeleton" case. I bought a skeleton case.

It's not the vibration in the camera you hearing but actually on
The mount . GO Pro made a "nose plug " to help reduce the noise

This rubber piece does not work with the J mount I have that connects to the suction cup mount.

My original Gopro didn't have the plug. But BB has the bag of mounts on sale for $11.99 which includes the plug. I couldn't find it for sale by itself.

Two things don't stick worth a damn on brushed arruminum...

1. Static cling numbers.

2. Suction mounts.

Two things that look really stupid...

1. Static cling numbers held on by racer's tape.

2. The video recorded on the GoPro as it goes flying off at about 35 or so. That being said, tough little sumb!tch.
