Kirkham and CSX relief fund

I have noticed a disturbing trend, and I've decided to try to help. There are apparently Cobra owners out there that are financially unable to care for their cars properly. Many scrimp and save for years, finally able to afford their dream Cobra, only to come up short and leave their car unpainted. In this day and age, it's unacceptable for these Cobras to remain naked, slowly decaying and oxidizing.

We live in the most prosperous country in history. With all the benefits we enjoy, it seems ironic that a few must suffer so. We can help.

I have started a charity, NakedCobraFund@gmail.com , that will rid the world of naked Cobras and help these poor owners overcome their plight. Donations to the Fund will be used to aid those in need to cure their unfortunate lack of pigmentation.

Please give what you can. Any donation, however small or large, will go to a good cause. Help me to cure this problem. Because we can.

To add insult to injury,a lot of these poor souls are having to revert to using Windex to clean their naked bodies.
This is especially bad in California with the water shortage putting the cost of water out of reach for most of them.

In place of donations to government sponsored activities (libraries, parks, welfare scum) help these poor taxpayers.

392cobra 07-20-2014 10:09 AM

As an added incentive to donate........

Just imagine,if you dare,Jamo on a hot summer day having to clean his naked body with Windex while wearing a speedo.:eek:

RodKnock 07-20-2014 10:46 AM

I'm accepting all donations. Please give. Even just 50 cents a day. That should cover my electrical bill for my Battery Tender.

Paint my Cobra? Nah.

I know how you feel. Innocent victims, they are! Who would have thought global warming would come to this? Surely as a compassionate people we can set aside our differences and do what's best to help these poor souls.

lol !

I've noticed that some unfortunate owners can't afford hood scoops, roll bars, or side-pipes either!

twobjshelbys 07-20-2014 09:53 PM

I think there is a very small minority of CSX cars that are bare naked ladies, whereas the majority of Kirkhams are.

Jamo 07-20-2014 10:13 PM

See the other thread...the original BNLs were done at Kirkham...some Shelby folks replicated the look so they could attain the feel of the Kirkham pedigree. :p

Is this a serious post??? Ill donate to charities for the kids but not someone needing paint for his car, their is a show for that called Overhaulin...

Jamo 07-20-2014 10:17 PM

Really?

fordracing65 07-21-2014 12:12 AM

Ya, I don't get it...

RodKnock 07-21-2014 09:19 AM

DougD wants all owners of no-paint aluminum bodied Cobras to conform to his standard and be painted a color. Sounds like he wants a society where everyone dresses the same, gets the same haircut, has the same amount of children, works for the government and no one can make any more money than anyone else. Hmmm sounds suspiciously like a country or two some may be familiar with around the globe. :p

Hope he didn't swallow the hook so you can toss him back!
