Maybe you could get one of the MFG's to sell you a rear clip for an honest price. Shouldn't be to hard to build from there.

$2995, ( http://www.corbin.com/furniture/cc2.shtml) but it comes with Shelby's signature  For that much, it ought to come with a CSX number and a place in the registry.
[edit: I just re-read the website - it comes with A REPLICA of Shelby's signature - you can't evan say "it's real"!]
I'm quite sure Hunter would sell you a rear clip for a reasonable price.

You could write it off if you had a Cobra related business, couldn't you? I expected it to be more actually but I live in Los Angeles, the land of expensive  I'm sure if you could get a clip for around $500 & you called in a couple favors from a couple talented buddies you could build one for less than $1000
