mastertouch327 buyer beware!!!
Just wanted to let everyon know about the experience I had with Mastertouch 327. I ordered a fuel log from them back on Sept. 10. After waiting a month I tried contacting them thru email and got no response. I then called and was told that it would go out the next day. After waiting another two weeks I called them back and was told that they would check on it and call back. Never heard from them. I have filed a dispute with PayPal but doubt I'll get my money back based on what I have heard from others.

A couple of months ago I ordered a SBF polished turkey pan. Received it in less than a week. They did a great job. Sorry to hear about your problems.

I just spoke with George last night. I don't think they make the fuel log anymore. I hope your issue gets resolved. I'm getting ready to order a turkey pan from him.

I used them 2 years ago buying the fuel log and turkey pan and it did take them about 30 days to ship the items but love the products and the price.

In these situations there are usually three sides to the story: 1) supersnake427's; 2) Mastertouch's; and 3) the truth - usually somewhere between #1 & #2.
FWIW, I've sent George at Mastertouch a 'heads up' and a link to this thread.

I treat the forum like walking into a club house or pub.
You introduce yourself, shake hands and have a yack. Imaging a stranger walking up to you in a pub and instantly starts complaining about stuff. Not trying to offend anyone.

I placed an order yesterday for a turkey pan. I'll follow up when it arrives. As I mentioned, I spoke with George and he was very helpful. I'm sure he will send it out.

I'm shocked, Paypal notified me today that they found in my favor and are issuing a full refund. I spoke with them three times on the phone and they never said anything about discontinuing the fuel log. It is still on their site. If that were the case, I should have been issued a refund. I gave them a full month before I even inquired about it. They never even responded to the dispute. That is probably why PayPal found in my favor

supersnake427: I don't know what site you're looking at, but when I look at the Mastertouch Web site ( http://www.mastertouch327.com/index.html) I don't see a fuel log. I looked Saturday, and again just now, and all I see under 'Products' are Turkey Pans. Do you have a link to where you see fuel logs?

I spoke with George Sr this week. His circumstances have changed and the website has been edited to reflect what is still available. It is a shame for us as he is a multi talented guy that had some neat products and tooling in the pipeline and in place previously. George Jr continues the business but like me he can't talk on the phone and e-mail and also make your parts so the process, like all good things, takes time. If you need help with a fuel log I have made some beauties in polished stainless and original configurations but if you think you can order it today and get it tomorrow don't bother getting in touch with me.

Turkey Pan
Well, I ordered it last Sunday evening and it arrived this Friday. 2 piece turkey pan for a 427 side oiler. George and his son did an amazing job. It's a work of art. I would recommend them any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Did it occur to anyone that he joined this forum to be able to recruit some help with an ongoing problem? It's obvious that some of you guys know the vendor. What's wrong with posting up the problems your having with one of the vendors, especially after trying to resolve it himself with no progress?
