Another attempt to bring that 60's iconic shape to the 21st century, and another failure, slap that photo next to butt-ugly in Webster's.

2 freakin' minutes of watching a car back up, down and alley and then onto a trailer. I'll never get those wasted 2 minutes back in my life.

So, some kind of Berlinetta/430/California Spyder Frankenstein with big 427 badging? That's all I see. Don't think that dog will hunt.!

I think it looks pretty good.
Stylistically, I think it's nicer than any other open 2 seater.
Try not to think of it as a Cobra. :JEKYLHYDE

Perhaps we shouldn't blame people for trying to update an icon, but what's next, a paint-by-numbers version of the Mona Lisa?

Congrats to Paolo, it's a nice story of the dream to develop this car and to see it moving around (and sounding great) is fantastic.

I would tend to agree once I don't think of it as a Cobra.

It's hard to really have a good idea what it looks like without a good profile view of the car... we only get to see the front and the rear.

The name of the car is a clever nod to the 427 cubic inches of displaced by the classic 5-liter V8 every Ford guy knows and loves.
Those Italians might be great lovers but their math sucks, 5 liters = 305 CID

Have to admit I'm stuck in the past when it comes to the lines of our 2 seat hot rods. The Italian version is no doubt a well built machine and certain there are people drooling over this design. Agree if it suggests 427 then it should be 427 cu in. otherwise is like have a hood scoop that flows no air.

Side pipes and rear exhaust? Kind of a 350Z shaped rear.

There was a thread posted here a couple/few years ago from the designer of this concept testing the waters of public opinion. I think the conclusion at the time was that it looked like a mildly restyled BMW Z3.
EDIT: Here's the link to the old thread. http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/all-...alian-car.html
