Don't bother looking - you won't find it

What gets people's goat is Evan's relentless trumpeting to all who care to listen, and all who don't (I think its even on his license plate) that his repli - er - car is a REAL Cobra, knowing full well that almost everyone takes "real Cobra" to mean "original '60's vintage".
No - in fairness - he never insists that its an original, but he sure goes out of his way in every conversation to make the unsuspecting public think it is and to make those in the know think its better than all others because its made by Shelby.

Buddy - that may be true for those who (understandably) feel its worth paying the extra premium to be able to say that their car is (technically) a REal Cobra. To most others its just another - very good - replica to be judged alongside all of the others according to quality and value for their dollar.

Real1 is a broken record that has been skipping for 10+ years.
He must be one bored and miserable person. Just ignore the troll.

Uninformed consumer. Why pay extra for a brand name drug, when a generic drug does exactly the same thing?:LOL:

Just wanted to get in before the lock.

Correcto! Well for the most part. What "everyone" takes as real or not real is up to them nor do I profess to read their minds but apparently this board is full of mind readers.

Observation. The "Most others" don't own Shelbys.

Yup, I do think it's better because its a Shelby. That's why I bought it.

 ;)

Is that a garden gnome in the right hand corner?

We can only hope....

We can only hope that the Becker suit will have pleadings like the one filed this week in the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia (Atlanta). https://www.scribd.com/document_down...d&source=embed

An interesting and (somewhat) entertaining document, especially her improper use of 'hoe' and 'weary' instead of 'wary' (pg. 7) - and yet she properly uses 'jurisprudence', 'you're' and 'your'.

Which law school will pick up on this as an example of how NOT to write a pleading - if for no other reason than sh**s and giggles?

I like it. Unfortunately, expressed more elegantly than I myself could have.

Some day...maybe the day before I retire...I'd love to file something like that.

Put up a draft on here so we can have a good chuckle.

I see Judge Hunt is a former FBI agent. He'll probably fail to see the humor in this. Wonder if Ms. Clark skipped the chapter on indirect criminal contempt in her self-taught legal education? I predict she'll be getting a visit from the Marshals soon.

Bought the car from Regg Dodd at Iconic. He built the car for himself to run in AI and AIX and decided to race a BDR Cobra now in AIX so he sold the Stang to me. Stellar build, top shelf components and very extensive build sheet. Brand new build. Just waiting for my SCT tuner (car came with 2 tunes AI and AIX/Trans Am TA3 tune, AIM Pista instructions and warranty.

I visited the shop back in March and inspected the car. Was impressed with the shop and showroom. Ran the car at Palm Beach International Raceway at night. Car was great.

Once you get Reg on the phone he is very helpful and is shipping out my remaining items.

First event May 4 at NJMP. Couldn't wait though. Drove the car around the neighborhood a few times. Brought back that old exciting feeling of being 16 and riding my dirt bike on the street hoping not to see a cop. Haven't had that excitement in 40 years. :D
