Exact 427 Image
Hey Guys,
I have not posted any photos of my Exact 427 in a while and thought is might be time to show it off with the Essex Wire Livery. This is from an event at Harris Hills Raceway at the end of March. It's all static cling and will be coming off soon. One thing I'd like to note is the meatballs are clear so the white paint will show through. Knock on wood but so far they have held on very well at 100+. Enjoy, Richard http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...s_800x600_.jpg |

Great looking car. My Exact Carbon Cobra will be done within a couple days and if the weather holds, I should be able to share some pics of it soon.

Great looking car... how about some more photos.

She's beautiful, Austin Snake!
More pics! |
Nice stance and a great looking ride.
|
Great to see a small shop put together a nice chassis and body!
|
Beautiful car Larry! I notice that the side pipes appear a bit lower in relation to the body compared to the other Exact Cobras like gsharapa's for example below. May be just the angle of the shot, or do you have a different header/sidepipe combo?

Buzz, They are the same pipes, same mounting. I believe it is just the angle of the photo and the shadows that creates the illusion of a difference. The headers were custom built to match the 351W to the side pipe's slip joint as Roger's supplier only provided 427 headers. Fortunately the owner of iceengine works lives in Austin and offered to build a set for me. icengineworks For someone making more than one set of headers in their lifetime this is a pretty good design tool. I'm kind of short of photo choices on my work computer so will get some additional images up over the weekend. Later, Richard |
sorry bad link to image

Here is a quick shot of the interior.
Main points of interest are: Ken Miles seat, Shelby American passenger seat, Smith Gauges. Pretty much just business, bling free! http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/s...71/ppuser/2734 |
I cannot see the pic of the interior. Both cars above look great!

Think my new ride matches my old Exact Cobra?
|
Looks like exactly the same car with a hard top on it. :) Nice GT40 , How is the driving experience compared to the Cobra? I've sat in a couple SPF GT40's and my head was against the roof.
