Best thread drift ever. So much to discuss, argue and disagree with, so little time.

Which brings me to the answer.....Willy Wonka.

The Question. Who is fordracing65's 3rd Grade teacher?

But since we are on the topic, to your point -- It all depends how you measure... By percentage Yes, by sheer volume No... :o

But you don't bank percentages now do you ;)

Yes, Dimis, the world's greatest universities are in......Oz.

rodneym 08-02-2015 06:20 PM

Does anybody know what the roller cost is on an ally 'Shelby' Daytona?

Just 5 of the Top 100 in Oz, vs the 43 in of the Top 100 for US (according to "The World University Rankings" 2015).

BUT only a total of 43 universities in Aus vs the 2600+ in the US.

Doing the math... Percentage vs Sum total... see what I mean -- Depends how you measure...;)

By any measure however, it suffices to say that any university in the Top 100 is right next to the flag pole on the summit of the mountain, when you consider the thousands of (16000? last I recall) universities in the world.

FWIW: my brain is full of this sh!te as I work at a Uni and do place my fair share of student athletes in US universities :o

Either way, I'd prefer to attend Kirkham University than Shelby's :p

Enjoy,

These days can't disagree. And I mean the one with the yellow brick road..

He was a guy who talked to much s h I t, so I had to kick his ass, some people need that every now and then, especially ones who hide behind keyboards...

Really? You still persist in that story? In third grade? that must have been a sight. A 3rd grader kicking the ass of a chit talking third grade teacher out back by the swing sets and monkey bars. Astonishing how you continue to embarrass yourself and don't even realize it.

Also, since you obviously still approach the solutions to your frustrations like a 3rd grader you'll be happy to know the last thing I do is hide behind a key board. If you think I need my ass kicked and would like to "come on down" I'll give you the address and even directions. No problem at all. Understand though I'm not a midget. That's all I'll say.

The last guy who was "going to kick my butt" from this forum years ago never showed up. I'm still here. You won't be another "no show" will you? Presures on now. You walked yourself into that one!!! It's all part of talking "big".

Just let me know. ;)

Rodney: I believe the cost is $350k.

rodneym 08-03-2015 07:40 AM

That's McCluskey territory.
As much as a Kirkham fan that I am, for all that dough, I'd also want the accuracy and take the McC coupe.
I believe that Shelbys and Kirkhams have their place in the hobby, but combining the two is a bit odd to me.

Brooklyn-427 08-03-2015 08:18 AM

Kirkham may have withdrawn Coupe sales as too keep Shelby demand upto date. Im sure they was listed @ $125k

The Kirkham Coupe was listed at $125K for a roller!!!! That's a fantastic price!

I'd buy one at that number. Seriously.

Rodney. I agree. $350K for just the Shelby roller is a lot of hay. A lot of other great choices for less. Very, very small resale market too. The Shelby name is worth more to many and to me too but not $225k more.

Brooklyn-427 08-03-2015 08:34 AM

Sorry my bad may have been $175K

Yes, I agree. There is an early McCluskey coupe in the museum at Shelby HQ in Vegas. It is a gorgeous vehicle and VIN'd in sequence to the originals (my recollection, I'll have to check my pics)

But... Didn't McCluskey sell his Coupe business to Kirkham.

When I kicked your ass you would sue me, that is how you would pay your hospital bills, give me a break, we could arrange a fight for charity, the loser gives his cobra to auction to sell, trust me you don't want that, we could meet halfway, say in Texas, the laws their for people like me will keep me out of jail longer than jersey, DEAD SERIOUS...

fordracing65 08-03-2015 10:06 AM

I have not kicked an old guy homophobe in a while, might be a good you tube vid, what are you in your 50-60 in age, ill buy your car at auction...

RodKnock 08-03-2015 10:18 AM

As much as I like a good pillow fight between co-eds, can you guys go somewhere else and compare your weewees. :p

Anyway Evan, you know the old saying of size doesn't matter. :)

Back on topic, when I asked about the price of the Kirkham Coupe when first publicized, the price was around $130K. More recently, I think the price is roughly $200K now depending on options. Add engine, tranny and setup.

 This is just too much fun!

Oh, no, no, no. You offered to kick my ass since I'm clearly the one that needs it.. Not the reverse. Stop looking for a way out now. You're committed in front of the world. You come to me as you offered. Don't back out now or find excuses or tie this to some charitable purpose.

This is not a charity fight. This is a good ol' ass kicking that needs to be done just like that 3rd grade teacher. ;)

No worries about legal liability. We can execute Mutual Releases for the event or "ass kicking". I'll even draft them free of charge. I can even host it at my Krav Maga Dojo in Dunellen NJ (Rt. 28). Come on out "DEAD SERIOUS". ;)

Just let me know when there Mr. "DEAD SERIOUS".

P.S. My car is not for sale nor will it be in the foreseeable future. Further, I'm not a homophobe so you need not worry being around me. ;) Do you just pick on old homophobes or do you beat up younger ones too?

fordracing65 08-03-2015 11:20 AM

In the Donald Trump thread you state your homophobe opinions a few times, its all good, no backing down here... and why would you want to buy a Kirkham coupe, you are the guy that would wait for Shelby to buy it from them triple the price rebadge it Shelby so you can say you have a REAL1, its that small pecker thing again...

Lets not drift off subject now. ;) I know you have an issue with homophobes and peckers.

Stay focused on the real task at hand. Just let me (all of us) know when I can expect you out here in Jersey. You want to fly into Newark Airport. Lots of hotels in the area. Continental Airlines has great rates into Newark.

Waiting in Jersey. :MECOOL:

Timeout on this thread ...for 48 hours.

When re-opened... it will be a week's time out for the agitators if this behavior reappears.

Thanks
