Default Leaking fittings

I'll go out today and pull off the 90 degree fitting and the adapter . Looking at the 90 it seems to have a few scratches but oil was coming out the top? Wasn't cross threaded. I bought the AN 90's on Ebay that is most likely the problem. The guy I bought the car from had reg ole black hose running to a smaller 10 row oil cooler so I ran the same size braided with An's to the new 16 row cooler. rear engine fittings are fine (different brand) New fittings from Summit ought to be here Tues. Can't upload pics?

Just because a hose is steel braided doesn't make it good hose.

Pay the money and get good hoses from quality suppliers. Like mikeinatlanta says, Aeroquip or Fragola are good.

I know these are for oil lines, but if you are replacing fuel lines, lots of nice looking fuel hoses degrade quickly with today's gasoline.

I haven't had any straight connectors fail at least.
I'll gladly take them if you are serious.

As an FYI: I spent some time on the phone with both Aeroquip and Fragola regarding compatibility with modern fuels. They both told me that every hose they sell will degrade with E-10 and recommend a five year replacement, including the Teflon. Same story for E-85 except for a 2 year replacement recommendation. I questioned some of Fragola's literature which states alcohol compatibility and he told me: "It is, for a while".
