Side louvers
Has anyone done anything custom with their side louvers if so I'd like to see some pictures because I can't fit the side louvers in because of the exhaust pipes from the turbos so I've got to come up with something creative

Earl,
Could you post a picture of one of your side louvers and let me know what the width of the edge around it is and just how much clearance you have from the side to the exhaust pipes?

Earl,
If you took your louver and cut the thickness in half, would it then work.

Can you run them on a mill and reduce the depth? Might be a delicate operation for sure.

I thought about trying to cut them down but it is just too difficult, wouldn't be enough left. There is about an inch clearance on drivers side and about a quarter of an inch on passenger side.

I'm thinking the bigger problem will be the paint blistering in the area....

Yeah I've got them heat wrapped pretty good I'm hoping that's not a problem with the heat and paint

Earl,
One thing that might help on the heat issue with the paint is what I did with mine and it worked very well. I got some heat reflective tape and taped the inside of the area around the cut outs and never had a problem after that.
