Seller does take excellent pictures, wish I had half of that part of his talent

Thanks - it amused me. Not sure about the colour - half of me loves it and the other half hates it.

Ron61 10-15-2015 06:17 AM

I am not to sure about that color either. And the title would not work here in California.

All that "manly" talk and it has heat shields? I would have expected barbed wire wrapped side pipes (:

REAL 1 10-15-2015 08:03 AM

Its that kind of crap that drove Carroll Shelby nuts. Rightfully so.

Dominik 10-15-2015 09:56 AM

Whatever he writes, if it says 1965 in the title a German "dealer" will buy it..

G-Pete 10-15-2015 01:12 PM

It will not reach the reserve....

No, but it will miraculously get within $10-$100 of it as usual

Well, I could deal with that color on a Plymouth Superbird, but I've got to hand it to the writer: that was a pretty funny narrative. I'm sure it gets the clicks.

I did like the diamond stitching on the interior. Similar to a Ferrari, but a little out of place in a Cobra.

Yes, I agree. Heat Shields?

All that nice bling and he sticks a rusty bracket under the dash.WTF?
Imaging actually meeting him to buy it. That would put me right of. But it was funny, especially to the reference to the handbag.:3DSMILE:

Wow! That is some imagination...

1795 10-16-2015 04:50 AM

There is cobra near me that has the same colors and I almost thought that it was this one, but I do not recall seeing the black stripe and graphics on the side. It reminds me of older Pylmouths and Dodges, but not what I would like to see on a cobra. Too each their own

Bartruff1 10-16-2015 07:06 AM

I know pimps that wouldn't be seen in that car. :)

I like it, he makes that odd color choice work with the blacked out wheels and striping.

DriftingCloud 10-16-2015 04:55 PM

It's not my cup of tea, but I do think it's a nice-looking, well balanced car. A lot of time and thought went into that build. Between the car and the write-up, I give him high marks for creativity.

Car notwithstanding, the ad is classic

Well, whatever...the auction is over and, as predicted, the reserve was not met.
