It sounds like they're using a Mustang II type front suspension, so no towers to get in the way of the Coyote.

Back in about 81 or so Shelby himself was missing a GT 350 convertible so he hatched a scheme to make a few more using existing but non-rusted Mustangs as the base. That seems like the right way to go if one was going to go into the replica/kit/tribute/restomod/pick your name business. To me anyway.

Drilling into the FAQ page here:
http://revologycars.com/faqs/
you will see that they offer both a brand new chassis (with a Revology VIN) or can rebuild on an original chassis (thus preserving the VIN of the original). They indicate the choice is driven by state licensing requirements.

It's a Shelby! I'm surprised the car isn't more $$$
Years ago, my neighbor got scammed by Unique Motors "Eleanor" Mustangs. I believed he paid "extra" to move up the waiting list from 3 years to 18 months delivery... never got car. not sure he got any $$ back.

I doubt that is uses a Mustang II suspension - I wrote "Mustang II TYPE suspension" (e.g. unequal length control arms). These are very good systems and have ultimately ended up being reproduced (and improved) with tubular arms by many companies such as Heidt's, TCI, Fatman, just to name a few.
Perhaps you're an automotive engineer or race car fabricator - I don't know your level of expertise. All I know is there have probably been more Mustang II type front ends installed than any other front suspension. It's a solid suspension design with a lot of benefits.

So I emailed them and they pointed me here:
Titling and Registration a Revology Mustang | Revology Cars
They have two ways: First is a ground up replica that has the same handling as any other replica, and we both referenced the Cobras. The other way is they can start with an original 65 car, strip down to frame, preserving the original VIN. They recommend the former but say they use the latter for most deliveries outside the US.

these guys need to put their shelby cars in a movie.. maybe in a Fast N Furious or Need for Speed video game, generate publicity.
"Eleanor" was a great seller because it was a hero car in a movie.

It would be as his name indicates. Because if he owned it, that would be the only reason it would be "Real". He could never own a "replica". The world would emplode into a black hole.

I believe Evan actually acknowledged CSX4206 is a 'replica':
While it is a replica of the original series it is also a Shelby Cobra. The car replicates the original Shelby Cobra as it must to be the same car. New. Old. Both nearly identical from SAI or is successor. See the World Registry. To say it is not a Shelby Cobra because it replicates the original series is in noting the obvious fact of what it is.
See Registry. It's all set forth very clearly.
Post at Why does every thread here devolve into a "Real" vs. "Replica" argument?

Apparently, yes...If Shelby American in Las Vegas builds or 'finishes' it.
You know, just like the "Real" Cobras that come out of SA/LV.
If they come from anyone else like Kirkham, ERA, Superformance, etc. they are replicas. But if Shelby American finishes assembling them and puts their tag on them, they somehow become "Real"...as if they went back in time and produced them.
Discuss...

Phil, the comments directed towards Evan are an attempt at resurrecting a rather unpleasant discussion, once again. It's best for you to find and read the myriad of other topics on this subject and let this sleeping dog lie.
