Beautiful car!

Thanks
I've driven about 16 different Cobras and this is the best driving, shifting, riding Cobra. Motor is very street friendly. I've put about 2000 miles on it. Sound like a big block. Great car. Dwight |

you could drive this Cobra today if there is no snow or ice on the road.
Great Cobra still for sale Needs a new home Dwight |

Weather was 68 degrees today so I called Doc and we took the B&B for a cruise.
Drove over to Po Boys for a late lunch. Just a great day for a spin in a Cobra. Dwight |
Dwight,
That is a nice looking cobra and I hope that you get what you want for it. Are you quitting the Cobra scene or do you have another one? Ron |
I do have a GT40 that I need to finish.
I don't know if I'll buy another Cobra. Maybe, I do love the feel of power and the speed. I would like to do the Hot Rod Power Tour in a Cobra. It's on the bucket list. I don't think I ever leave the Cobra scene!:) Dwight |

This is a drivin' machine extraordinaire! It sports a (California) SB100 sticker... it was originally registered under the coveted "SB100" [California Senate Bill 100]—that means (for California residents) no smog certification, no registration hassles for the life of the car! Under the hood: Keith Craft 408 cid 'stroker' V8 [dyno'd at 531 hp and 539 ft-lbs. torque]. It's outfitted with: a Quick Fuel 780 cfm carburetor, Holley 'HP 125' fuel pump, MSD distributor and 'Blaster II' coil, custom 4-core aluminum radiator and much more premium componentry. Geartrain: Centerforce clutch ensemble, Tremec 3550 5-speed, 8.8" Ford rear end. This Cobra sounds appropriately aggressive and menacing... music to the ears of any Shelby serpent enthusiast... two weeks ago I drove 350 miles (round trip) to the Coker Tire Cruise in Chattanooga.
Last week it was a 180 mile round trip to the Eckenrod Ford Show in Cullman Alabama. I cranked the Cobra and back it out of my shop. I locked the doors and then took this video of the B&B idling. Dwight https://youtu.be/_qv-9DawYs0 |

just uploaded a video of the warm up before I drove to Chattanooga

Last month I replaced the battery. It was six years old. I also replaced the gaskets on the sidepipe to headers. Small leak causing it to pop through the side pipe.
I bought a new MSD 6AL box and replaced the 6A box. The way we drove the car we did not need a rev limiter but the new owner may need one. Last Sunday I took a video of the Cobra idling in front of my shop. Sounds good. [ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txBXSZ8sph0[/ame] But when I got home and watched the video I noticed the bumpers, again. Well my OCD kicked in and Monday I took the time to cut them back 2". Looks a lot better. Should have done that four years ago. One of the little things that bugged me but I was always to busy to fix. before http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...eforefront.jpg after http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...afterfront.jpg before http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...beforerear.jpg after http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d.../afterrear.jpg |
The bumpers look better...:)
I'm surprised your car hasn't sold yet - Honestly- I'm amazed that FF is still selling so many kits, when there are Cobra's out there in the market (like this one) that you could not build to this level of finish, detail, or performance, without spending more money than Dwight is asking... Bizarre. |

Planning on checking the inside of the Quick Fuel carb before we pull out next week going to the London Cobra Show and the SAAC 41 event at Mid Ohio.
I'll put the hard top on and check the tires. Everything else is ready to go. Look forward to seeing all my buddies in Columbus. Three day tail gate party Dwight Oh yea I've dropped the price to $40,000. |
