If you have to ask, then you'd be better off with a single 4. As with many, many things on these cars, we don't often do what's easiest on the wallet, makes the wife happy, best mpg, et al.
Here's an old pic of my dual Holley 660s. The blow-thru work was done by AED.
If you're not familiar with AED, read up on them.
