5.4 gt500 sc cobra build

Hello, I'm getting ready to start fitment of panels on my build. I tried to post few pics of my car but seems like they were large when I put some in my intro thread. Is this normal? I use photobucket and can't make them any smaller.this is the first time I'm having this issue.

Thanks
Joe

The pics look fine to me. The only thing I can see is that you may be slightly underpowered. :D

I know;) I'm putting the 3.6 kenne bell on and L&M cams after my Nys inspection. I'll post the first gocart video I have.

Thanks
Joe

That's pretty impressive that you were able to shoehorn that wide beast in there. Will it work with a standard hood scoop - sort of looks like it will.

Nice job on the dash, too.

That is a nice job all around. It will be a lot of fun to drive when you finish. Thanks for posting the pictures.

Thank you,I had to do Alot of fab work to foot boxes and chassis mounts.when I was Laying everything out I set motor in car low so the kenne bell sc should clear, with that being said factory charger should be no prob. We!ll see soon.

Great video, how long did it take to get the smiles off your faces?
Looks like you won't be needing any more HP. Lots there now.
Good looking build.

Looks impressive alright.

Let's hope you don't have a valve cover leak.

That is awesome! Can't imagine how much fun that's going to be!!

Question: I see the corrugated coolant pipe connected to rubber connectors. How does that stay leak-free?

Thanks, yes it is interesting. 6th gear goes up in smoke like I'm in 1st:3DSMILE:

The stainless hose is great. Cut to whatever length needed put rubber boot on with clamp and that's it. Never had a leak not even a drip.can bend in tight spots and not have to worry about it kinking or colapsing..

That's interesting, thanks!

That is one sick setup. Did you ever consider the 03-04 4.6 terminator motor?

Ron61 08-26-2016 03:51 AM

I used that type of stainless hose on my radiator when I was racing and it worked very well. And they look good too.

Ron :)

Thanks. I originally build car with 00 svt cobra motor, took it on the first gocart and decided I wanted a lot more. After doing research and seeing what people are using in their builds I decided I want something that really no one has so I pulled all apart and started over with this route to be different.it was not easy either that's for sure...I will be upgrading everything on motor after my NYS inspection for my vin#. No need for them to know the amount of hp car will have:3DSMILE:

Hmmm - that Kenne Bell would fit nicely under the bonnet of my 5.4 powered cobra!
Very impressive

That is an impressive build that you are doing and I would like to know just what it turns out when you get the final touches on it. A great job and looks like a factory install. Congratulations on such great work.

Ron
