COB 0 series car? I don't recognize that. Sounds like a Ned question.

That "engine number" is the block casting code and not what AC Cars would have stamped on the tag.
Most likely some sort of kit with a repro "AC" chassis tag. First question, what is the body, aluminum or plastic?

Brian, that is not a valid chassis number for an original Cobra, either from Shelby American or AC Cars. As Rick said, probably nothing more than a repop chassis plaque on a replica of some kind.

Were you on the Bills' message boards posting angry thoughts about Rex Ryan's coaching, even though the Bills beat the Patriots last week? 3:00 AM is a bit early to be doing that. :p:LOL:

Nah, posting about the Bills would be a full time job! One week Rex is turd, the next week is smarter than Belichick. I know people who spend all day listening to local sports radio and getting their blood pressure worked up.
Not worth it.

I load my photos to photobucket, then use the link to upload to a thread.

I typically save them, either to my computer and then upload or save them in my Club Cobra album and then load them from there. You may have to resize them to fit the site's pic parameters.

Would anybody be interested in posting my pictures to this thread, I can't seem get it done.
I am extremely computer handicapped.
I could e-mail the pictures and maybe someone can post them for me?
Thanks

The easiest way is to open up a photobucket account, upload them there, and then use the "copy link" feature on photobucket and paste the link here.
(Looking back, LMH does the same thing.)

Certainly looks like it has Kirkham features, that would be my guess.
Looks like a great start for a project build.

Why did the original post disappear from this thread?
Lots of file markings and no paint where the number is serial number is on the frame. You don't suppose someone ground away the original number to replace it with COB 0666. ;)
And you think they would have added some black paint in that area to prevent it from rusting.
|
Brian said the paint was ground away to expose the number better.
